Compassionate Care
We will arrive within the time slot booked to meet you and your pet and introduce ourselves. Consent form paperwork and after care choices will be completed if not done so ahead of time. An injection which is a mix of pain killer and sedative will be given under the skin which will help your pet to relax and become sleepy. This may take 10 to 20 minutes to take effect. If they are still eating you may want to offer them some tasty treats. Once your pet is sleepy another injection will be given which is an overdose of anaesthetic and will let your pet pass away. We will listen to their chest and feel for pulses and confirm their passing. Once you have spent some time saying goodbye we will prepare ink prints and fur clippings.
Stress-Free
Our stress-free approach allows your pet to feel calm and relaxed during this difficult time, providing a peaceful and dignified farewell.
Aftercare
We can then transport your pet to the local crematorium unless you prefer to organise aftercare yourselves. If your pet is over 25kg we may need help transferring them to our vehicle. If this is not available then the crematorium may need to collect from your house directly and this will need to be prearranged.
